As a school psychologist since 1990 I am familiar and experienced in educational and parenting issues and the overall school environment. I conduct evaluations, consultation and interventions to assist in enhancing emotional, educational and behavioral goals for children. My interests include positive behavior interventions and supports and providing relevant psychological and educational education to parents and teachers. My experience also includes University instruction and supervision of graduate psychology students in various aspects of current and emerging best practices in the field.

 I have been in Private Practice since 1994. I continue to find gratification in helping people with a wide range of needs. I participate in several insurance plans and also work with clients who do not use insurance. Treatment should be uniquely designed for each individual client. My approach in psychology is to focus on evidence-based and practical treatment approaches, including education about symptom management, child development and parenting skills, professional assessments, cognitive-behavioral and traditional behavioral treatments and consultation. Additional training includes marriage and family counseling and a variety of self-management methods including relaxation and hypnosis.
